Missile Defense logos looks like Obama campaign logos; stirs talk

The US Missile Defense Agency logos is causing an internet stir for its apparent similarity to the Obama campaign 2008 "Change" logos.

The agency - a subset of the US Department of Defense - has been sporting a red, white, and blue logos on its website which opposition to the President have called "frightening'.

Perhaps in a more paranoid vein, some see the crescent and stars of Islam in the logos. It was designed by a marketing and communications firm called TMP Government, which has designed logos for a number of intelligence related agencies.

But this particular one has caught the eye of critics of the Obama administration.
"I'm having trouble seeing past the crescent and star in the new logo," one critic posted on WashingtonTimes.com. "Is this our signal to the muslim world that we're not going to shoot down their missiles?"

Another poster on WeaselZippers.net likened the logo to that of a "corny science fiction movie."

But others said it was all in the eye of the beholder, and that they saw little or no similarity between the Obama and Missile Defense logos.

This really is taking paranoia to a whole new level. Frankly, I don't see much similarity between the logos - certainly the color scheme, but folks - it's red, white, and blue. How many US logos use those colors??? OMG/A, it's got a star on it, just like the star of Islam! Our flag has 50 stars - does someone want to suggest that the 50 stars on the flag are 50 Islamic references that were placed by the same subversives who arranged for this logo to be created?

Where do people come up with this stupid crap. This logo was created long before President Obama's campaign LOGO.... Knowing that, I wonder if they think that the Bush administration trying to "send a signal to the muslim world that we're not going to shoot down their missiles?" ROFLMAO
