Since these email chain letters are still going around, I thought maybe it was time to let everyone know THEY ARE HOAXES. There are so many, but here are the most common ones I get - Evan Trembley and Ashley Flores
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
EVAN TREMBLEY - CLAIM: A 15-year-old boy named Evan Trembley is missing ~ FALSE
Snopes:http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/missing/trembley.asp
Break The Chain:http://www.breakthechain.org/exclusives/evantrembley.html

ASHLEY FLORES - CLAIM: A 13-year-old Philadelphia girl named Ashley Flores is missing ~ FALSE
Snopes:http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/missing/ashleyflores.asp
Break The Chain:http://www.breakthechain.org/exclusives/ashleyflores.html

NOTE: There is a part of both of these missing person's reports that were obviously copied & pasted from one to the other ~

FROM EVAN'S POSTER: Maybe if everyone passes this on, someone will see this child. That is how the girl from Stevens Point was found by circulation of her picture on tv. The internet circulates even overseas, South America , and Canada etc. Please pass this to everyone in your address book.

FROM ASHLEY'S POSTER: Maybe if everyone passes this on, someone will see this child. That is how the girl from Stevens Point was found, by circulation of her picture on TV. The internet circulates even overseas, South America, and Canada etc. Thanks. Please pass this to everyone in your address book.

FROM BREAK THE CHAIN: The text in Evan Tremblay's poster is borrowed, nearly verbatim, from an earlier hoax about Ashley Flores, another child we are to believe had gone missing. The Flores chain was borrowed heavily from the Penny Brown hoax, which in turn was derivative of the Kelsey Brook Jones chain, and so on. But Evan's chain has more in common with the Flores hoax, which was created as a practical joke by one of Ashley's friends. This time, the prankster is the supposedly missing child himself. Evan Trembley is indeed a teen from Wichita Falls, TX, but he was never missing. Rather, he snatched the text from the Flores letter on a MySpace bulletin, adapted it to himself, added his photo and re-posted it. His intention was to amuse some friends, but he was utterly unprepared for the life his fake notice has taken on.

FROM SNOPES: According to KFDX, the NBC television affiliate in Wichita Falls, Texas, the prankster responsible for the mayhem was none other than the "missing boy" himself. Evan Trembley had substituted information about himself into a phony missing child alert he'd found on MySpace, invented a signature block for a made-up Wichita Falls police officer to add to the jape, and sent the resulting alert to a few friends as a joke. His prank escaped into the wilds of the Internet, and now the Trembley family is receiving about seven phone calls a day from folks who have received the appeal in e-mail, some of these calls coming in from as far away as Hawaii. Wichita Falls police have contacted the boy's mother, Tammy Trembley, about the hoax. She said that, based on their conversation, she doesn't think police will take any action against her son.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
INTERNET HOAXES:

EVAN TREMBLEY IS NOT MISSING NEVER HAS BEEN AND HE SHOULD BE FORCED TO VOLUNTEER (voluntold is more like it) HIS SPARE TIME (since it is obvious he has so much of it) TO HELP OUT AT HOMELESS SHELTERS, FOOD BANKS OR SOME PLACE TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY AND KEEP HIM OUT OF TROUBLE - I DON'T THINK HE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO EVER WORK WITH MISSING PERSON'S ORGANIZATIONS, SINCE HE DOES NOT HAVE THE HEART FOR IT - HE OBVIOUSLY THINKS A MISSING PERSON IS A JOKE (and since I have a missing daughter, I completely missed the humour).

ASHLEY FLORES IS NOT MISSING EITHER. SHE DID NOT START HER OWN HOAX, BUT HER 'FRIENDS' WHO DID DESERVE THE SAME PUNISHMENT AS EVAN DESERVES (with friends like those, who needs enemies, I guess). THERE IS NO REASON IN THE WORLD THAT SOMEONE SHOULD JOKE ABOUT A MISSING PERSON, WOULD THEY JOKINGLY SAY THEY WERE RAPED OR KILLED, I HARDLY THINK SO. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MISSING PEOPLE, SO THE RIPPLE EFFECT OF JUST ONE CASE AFFECTS SO MANY, THEREFORE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT CRIME THAT AFFECTS MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN OUR WORLD - AND CHANCES ARE NOW-A-DAYS WITH SO MANY VICTIMS, YOU PROBABLY EVEN KNOW SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMEONE WHO IT MISSING.

Even I have found out that people I know have had a missing person in their life, sometimes for years.

- One time I had to go get some blood work done and the woman at the clinic was someone I went to school with back in elementary school. She told me she was so sad to hear about Jessie and that she prays for her and our family - then she told me something I never, ever knew. She told me that her Daddy was the conductor of a train that went into the Fraser River over 40 years ago (when we were still in elementary school). The Fraser River is a fast, deep, mean river that is very unforgiving to anything that falls into it. The bodies of the men working on the train that went over a 400 foot cliff into the cold mean Fraser River have never been found. Her dad's body has never been brought home to his family and is still missing. SAD SAD SAD. For me, if I cannot get Jessie back alive, I still want her back.

- Also, I have worked at my job for almost 3 years and there are 2 people I worked with back at the beginning also have or have had a missing person in their life.

* One family had a child abducted by one of the parents over 4 years ago, and now the Hague Convention is involved as it is an international abduction case.

* One family had their teenage son go somewhere for the weekend without getting permission and scared the crap out of his parents - the kicker about this story is that the mother of the child where their son went to stay told them that she did not think of this as a missing child; after all, she used to live in Calgary and missing woman JESSIE FOSTER'S dad was Dwight Foster was her neighbour. WHAT THE HECK DID THAT MEAN? I mean, the person who's son was missing has been MY FRIEND for 5 years. Obviously that woman did not learn a thing from having a neighbour's daughter become an international endangered missing person who is possibly the victim of a human trafficking ring.

And that is sad ~ people underestimate missing person's case. Usually starting out with (adult) MAYBE THEY CHOSE TO LEAVE or (child) MAYBE THEY RAN AWAY. By the time most cases are taken seriously and searches are done, hours...days...weeks, and yes even months and years have gone by. WHY? Why do they not give the family or even the missing person the BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT? Why do they not believe them when they say THEY WOULD NOT DO THAT? After all, who knows the missing better than their family and friends?

PICTURED: My 15 year old son, Evan Trembley, is missing. Maybe if everyone passes this on, someone will see this child.

I ran across them in the past can you believe it. Who would make up this stuff? It's not like we don't have enough to do.
