NP Rank:
Mitt Romney Democratic target for death threats!
It wasn't enough that the RNC was a smashing success and Mitt Romney accepted his nomination, but the darkside of the Democrat propaganda machine already began by the time Mitt had finished his speech.
After a high energy turn our for a marvelously successful RNC convention in Tampa, Florida. Mitt Romney’s acceptance speech was anxiously awaited. Before Romney could even deliver that address though, veteran actor and Hollywood icon, Clint Eastwood gave an uncharacteristically different kind of performance. Some loved it, while others considered Eastwood’s appearance to be awkward and unusual. Some had advised that Romney’s acceptance speech should never have been scheduled following Eastwood to begin with.
After electrifying addresses given by Ann Romney, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and black Utah mayor Mia Love, some worried that Mitt would be too stiff and seem a bit too impersonal, but nothing could have been further from the truth. Romney was engaging, knew how to work the crowd, and gave personal insights into his very own family that was a real tear jerker. He told of how his dad laid a red rose alongside his mother’s bed stand each and every morning until one sad dawn when she did not find her expected rose by the bedside. When she had gone out to find out why she had found her husband had passed away. The missing rose had alerted her on that fateful morning. That touching story among other qualities, endeared the RNC audience to the undisputed GOP candidate for the US Presidency. Affirming the faith of his Republican party that Mitt is the man to defeat President Obama and lead America to a new era of prosperity. At times Mitt was even funny.
There have been way too many apologists for Mitt Romney. People saying that you might not want to have a beer with Mitt, but he’ll solve your corporate problems and make your operation profitable again. Personally, I have seen another side of Romney as he engaged professional hecklers at one of his first campaign stops in 2011 and quickly deflated their despicable attempts at thwarting his message. Romney handily addressed their accusations with skill and decency. During the debates with his Republican cohorts Romney showed himself to be more than up to the challenge while always remaining fair if not tough when he had to be. No one will shout him down or throw him off his message. Romney is effective, but also very reachable and charismatic contrary to some evaluations.
However, a dark cloud descended when after the tumultuous energy that was echoed by a unified and delighted GOP party who are convinced that Mitt Romney is their man, dirty tactics of the Democrats emerged again. Millions watched Romney’s acceptance speech on You Tube and began making inappropriate comments that ranged from outright obscenities to threats of death. One person who left a comment on You Tube was quoted as saying he was going to kill Romney. This negativity was echoed by others who obviously feel threatened because their entitlements will be cut off or simply because Democratic propaganda and rhetoric condoned and ignited by President Obama’s past public remarks over a wide range of issues, has made this kind of behavior acceptable.
In this country, making a death threat against anyone is a punishable offense that can elicit a visit from FBI agents. In a fair and objective playing field, you can bet that the FBI would be summoned and many of these You Tube commenters would indeed be investigated, but the Department of Justice does not seem to be interested in pursuing their legal mission when it comes to the law.
The physical threats of violence and verbal abuse uttered by club brandishing New Black Panthers was never prosecuted by AG Eric Holder’s DOJ even though film footage clearly showed the felony level crime being committed. Two top level attorneys Christian Adams and Christopher Coates were both forced to resign over the incident as they could no longer support such disparities in justice being pursued the DOJ. Recently a US soldier making critical remarks about President Obama on his Facebook account was arrested. A Tea Party member living near Dallas, Texas was visited by FBI agents for no other reason than making nonviolent criticisms of the federal government. Comedian, Orlando Jones made a death threat against former VP for John McCain, Sarah Palin, on his twitter account and was not investigated at all.
In all this, President Obama has failed to denounce or quell threats against conservative political figures especially Republicans even through almost 4 years of a turbulent political climate that has been divisive, disrupting, and unproductive for the unity of the American people. The President has displayed his bias and hypocrisy contrary to the supposed civility he promoted at the very beginning of his term. What way is this for the leader of the free world to act, doing nothing to stop hostility and threats of death against political leaders on Capitol Hill.
Mitt Romney offers Americans a grain of hope over the future of this nation, by creating jobs with his business expertise and lack of ideological intention to punish America as has been evidenced in the conduct of our corrupt President. Threats were sanctioned by the administration by its very refusal to take action against those who demonstrated hostile intent! Many will wake up to the reality that the leftist agenda will not only disrupt the lives and economy of this nation, but penalize those who are successful and vilify them for the very prosperity we Americans once valued and strived for.
Does anyone remember the Occupy Movements creating havoc all over America in its major cities, especially Wall Street as protestors defecated on police cars, had public sex, trashed public grounds, did drugs in full view of fellow citizens, and even stole from local retailers. These organized chapters created insurrections yet had no unifying voice or political message, only the disoriented stammering of drug abuser street urchins who were hired by an entity who was using them for a purpose. That entity was the Democrat party using the classic subversion of Marxist dissenters who create unrest all over the world as they overthrow small governments. This is the assault faced by Americans within their very own country today. All of it permitted, sanctioned, and financed by Obama and the Democrats. Just as the death threats currently being hurled against Mitt Romney, the GOP Presidential candidate and all other conservatives who are trying to save their country.

Poignant article, but lets not forget Republican death threats against Obama:

Excuse me? There have been no death threats against Obama, even criticism against the President has been met with Secret Service investigations and one US soldier who made no threat only negative comments, against Obama on his Facebook page being arrested. If you don't think the US is transforming into a police state, you're living in denial.

If you think that the U.S. transformation into a police state is not a bipartisan affair, then you're living in denial.

S.1867 signed by Obama, National Defense Preparedness Executive Order- by no other than. The first incarnation of NDAA S.1867 Obama insisted that American citizens should also be indefinitely detained just as terrorists until the measure was changed. Yes there are Republicans that supported S.1867 sadly, but true conservatives and Ron Paul would not support such legislation and these are the ones I support too.

Agreed,
Ron Paul was the only candidate with plans to restore this countries constitution. For this, he was lampooned by the media, and, his supporters were subjected to MIAC abuses.
It is sad to think that both Obama and Romney are Ivy League Law School graduates. Neither, in my opinion, understands the bedrock of civil right, the "Great Writ" Habeas Corpus. S. 1867 of the NDAA is an abandonment of a fundamental due process right that is the basis of modern Western jurisprudence. We are regressing the very concept of civil rights to the era before the Magna Carta of 1215. Democracy is dying behind closed doors, in opacity, not with a bang but with a whimper.
