Miyuki Hatoyama, Japan's New First Lady, Says She Can Eat The Sun
Miyuki Hatoyama, Japan's New First Lady, has been raising eyebrows. Bizarre statements made by Miyuki Hatoyama in the past have begun to receive international attention ever since her husband, Yukio Hatoyama, was elected as Japan's new Prime Minister. Of special interest are statements the new Japanese First Lady made on a talk show in May, when she said that she can eat the sun and that Tom Cruise was Japanese in a past life.
“I know that Tom Cruise was Japanese in the previous life,” Miyuki Hatoyama said on the talk show. The Japanese First Lady, who is a strong believe in spiritualism, talked about Tom Cruise in relation to a dream she thinks will come true - that she will be in a Hollywood movie that features Tom Cruise as the lead actor.
The dream may not be as farfetched as it seems at first glance, as Miyuki Hatoyama is a former actress. The new First Lady was well-known in Japan long before her husband was elected Prime Minister, as she is also a former actress, dancer and singer who performed in the Takarazuka Revue, a popular all-female theater group.
"I also eat the sun," Hatoyama said on the program, looking up with her eyes closed, raising her arms high as if she was tearing pieces off an imaginary sun. "Like this, hum, hum, hum. It gives me enormous energy."
Moreover, in a book she wrote that was published last year, Miyuki Hatoyama said she was abducted by aliens and taken to Venus.

:) Furtunatelly her Husband is rather pragmatic and down to earth.
I suppose that may be why the two do not spend much time together.
