Corporal Stuart Hale is now serving in southern Afghanistan less than two years after he was injured by a mine in Helmand Province.

The 26-year-old from the 3rd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment, was one of several soldiers hurt after being caught in the unmarked minefield near the Kajaki Dam in September 2006.
