Video footage has emerged of the moment Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi was captured. You can watch the video below: it is graphic.

Gadhafi is alive but visibly wounded as he is dragged into the open by a group of rebels, and we can hear shouting and gunfire.

According to the Global Post, The video was recorded on an iPhone by Ali Algadi. According to the article, some of the rebels are shouting, "Don't kill him! We need him alive!"

This footage will be useful in reconstructing the chain of events surrounding Gadhafi's death. It is still being argued whether or not he was summarily executed, despite NTC assertions that he was killed in the crossfire between loyalists and rebels, dying of his wounds before he could reach any nearby hospital.

The bullet wound to his forehead would suggest otherwise.
