A stunning Event to beat the economy crisis
Real action. The show doubled the size to 13 000 m², with now 100 yachts displayed in the remade port of Monte-Carlo. 500 exhibitors had to wait sometimes 2 years for a place. 30 000 visitors, sellers and buyers.
The show is packed with people
Many buyers from Russia, many sellers from UK. AbuDhabiMar, the first AbuDhabi based luxury yacht maker present with the World's first Steel Recycling modules for Yachts. Danish Yacht presenting ultralightweight fuel efficient Kevlarstyle yachts with ultralight aeroplane, folded wings, for beach mountain excursion on board.

The next step is the leisure fishing boat H2ONE Hydrogen. SKByard says more to come, Hydrogen power for 32 > 56 > 72meter / 240 ft yachts on the planning board. The "Sea-Hydrogen group" showed strong interest to cooperate with agropark06, the leading, riviera-london based, renewable energy Assoc. for Market entry of "Hydrogen on the Sea" with Focus Europe and AbuDhabi.
Prince Albert II of Monaco
H.S.H. Prince Albert II is a strong supporter of clean Hydrogen technology replacing Petrol. He supported the "Sea-Hydrogen group" to be present , with the obstacle of long waiting lists to overcome. He tested already the BMW Hydrogen 7 California car at the Moanco EVER cleancar EXPO, and already years ago the GM General Motors winner Ople Zafira, fuel cell only, no batteries. Prince Albert was driving the Fuel cell Hydrogen GM car over the Formula 1 racing track of Monaco. The Ferraris and Roll Royce parked at the Hotel de Paris and the Casino encountered the future of Clean cars. Last, but not least, again press saying Prince Albert will marry in 2009 (or maybe not), who knows?

C02 neutral Yacht Show monaco
Monaco yacht show since 2005 CO2, carbon compensated.
2007 generated volume C02 by MYS yachtshow: 2 836 tons CO2. Financed in 2008, 53 200 Euro. CO2-Project India, Maharasshtra, Indian bagasse power plant.Bagasse is the byproduct of sugar cane farming, burnt instead of Oil to produce Electricity. The CO2 emitted in the atmosphere is the same fixed by growing the Sugar plants. (certified CER under guidance of UNFCC, united nations)

50 000 bugs buy no clean wind or solar power. The continued emission of CO2 by burning waste plants is not to consider as Prime carbon compensating, it is a second hand solution. The India village people enjoy the same CO2 pollution as before, with less sulphur, still Asthma provoking. The regional to control, renewable energy approach Monaco is zero. Why?

The Ecological Multi Millionaires! Hum, We need to focus on ecology for the masses and make it viable. I do not worry to much about the Prince nor The Movie stars but about the masses and this globally. Good Post SOLARLIFE.

Paschen "Monaco yacht show, Hydrogen Prince Albert" .."ecology for masses needed", appreciate your comment. This is the hope for the fishing industry too. The H2ONE is practical a fishing boat too, to cruise for fishing (Iceland smart H2 fishing vessel). Celebreties engaging for clean technology are a rare breed. But look at the Terminator of stinky petrol, governour Schwarzenegger with his Hydrogen Highway for California, so Prince Albert channelling for Green economy. People believe in people as living examples. Thanks for Flag. Even AbuDhabi recycling steel for new vessels, a strong impact on the world endagered by somalia pirates.

Yes, I agree SOLARLIFE and I do like The Terminators work in LA even though I was rather skeptical about his election at first he sure convinced me by now that he is serious about the environment.

Paschen, I agree, the terminator is serious, "California, Schwarzenegger sues EPA over greenhouse gases" His hydrogen hummer, for some to big, but school classes in France have been impressed to see youtube ... environment action. Convinces more than a bureaucrats bla, bla
