Today, from about 12h02pm to 12h44pm, service was stopped and wagons evacuated at the Longueuil dock of the Berri-UQAM station. At least one individual decided to walk in the tunnel between the Berri and Jean-Drapeau stations.
At first, we could hear a man yelling in the tunnel. Then an incoming metro train stopped about 20 meters short of the terminal and was then evacuated. Altough low quality, this can be seen on the attached video, filmed from my cell phone. Then policemen arrived and entered the tunnel, as the wagons where still being evacuated. The police returned about 10 minutes later, but they had not aprhended anyone. The individual must have been evacuated through the Jean-Drapeau station, located on Ste-Helene island, near the location of the Formula one grand prix racetrack and the former site of Expo 67.
By the time electricity was restored to the tracks and service ready to restart, there where hundreds of people waiting, as can be seen on the second video.
