More ‘Friends’ Added at Barackbook.com

Nearly six weeks after its launch, more friends have been added to the social networking web site, Barackbook.com.

The most recent friend updates include Barack Obama’s notable associations with:

    * Barack Obama is now friends with Howard Gutman — Gutman is an attorney and Obama bundler whose clients include a former member of the Weather Underground;

    * Barack Obama is now friends with Rep. Rahm Emanuel — Emanuel represents Illinois’ 5th Congressional District, serves as chairman of the House Democratic Caucus and has close-knit connections to Chicago Mayor Daley and corrupt Chicago figures;

    * Barack Obama is now friends with Larry Lessig — Lessig is a technology adviser to Obama and former Harvard classmate who advocates the abolition of intellectual property rights; and

    * Antoin “Tony” Rezko is now friends with Aiham Alsammarae — Obama donor Aiham Alsammarae, a close friend of convicted felon Tony Rezko who is identified by Interpol as an Iraqi fugitive with a warrant against him for corruption charges.
