More on the Renee Pernice case

Renee_2 From Glenn Rice:

Horse-mounted police this morning searched a wooded area in northeast Kansas City as part of their ongoing investigation of a missing 35-year-old Northland mother of three.

No one has seen Renee M. Pernice of Kansas City, North, since Friday. The woman’s father, Rick Pretz, and police speculate that foul play was involved in the woman’s disappearance.

On Thursday, the Missouri Search and Research canine unit searched for evidence along Cliff Drive and were joined by police on ATVs. Family members were present as officers on foot and a police helicopter also were used in the search, said Capt. Rich Lockhart of the Kansas City Police Department.

... No arrests have been made, and no suspects were in custody, Lockhart said.

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating Pernice, described as about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and slender with blue eyes and shoulder-length brunette hair.
