Morgan Tsvangirai's youngest grandchild has drowned in a swimming pool today. Tsvangirai is the prime minister of Zimbabwe and was attending a World Bank sponsored retreat of his new cabinet in Victoria Falls when he learned that his youngest grandchild of 30 months had drowned. Tsvangirai lost his wife Susan to a car crash only on March 6th.

Tsvangirai's son, Garikai Tsvangirai, is studying in Canada, but was in Harare following his mother's dead only a month ago.

Mr Tsvangirai, who has six children and had two grandchildren, was flying back from Victoria Falls today to join his grieving family at his home where the tragedy happened.
