Plane Crash Kills 78 in Morocco

A military plane crashed in Morocco, killing at least 78 people. The plane was carrying 81 people: 60 soldiers, 12 civilians, and nine crew members. The three survivors are severely wounded.

The plane, a C-130, crashed into the side of a mountain while flying from Agadir to Al-dakhla, a military airport in a disputed region in the Western Sahara.

Morocco is not internationally recognized as controlling Western Sahara, nor is the region considered an independent nation.

The plane crash is being preliminarily blamed on bad weather. Despite the tremendous amount of spam on YouTube, there is not any actual video footage of the Morocco plane crash.
