25 Most Dangerous Neighborhoods in America, Cincinnati Tops List

I don't understand why people come on this page and brag about having a dangerous city.  It is sad that we live in a society where people brag because the have the highest murder rate in the nation.  That goes to show that we care more about crime then up lifting our community and making it a safer place for our children.  I am from South Central L.A. (92nd and Central) and that is the Hood near the Nickerson Gardens.  I graduated from school and left that neighborhood and will never go back.  There's nothing to brag about living in a neighborhood where people are getting killed over drugs, women getting raped, kids getting abused and other things.  Come on America we need to wake up.  We can't blame the white man for this.  We have to blame ourselves.  Yes, the white man will continue to build projects and liquor stores and guns stores in our community, it's up to us to object to that.  We don't need 5 liquor stores on one street corner.  We need to get more involved in our community.  This is not just for black people.  I am speaking for everyone who is tired of all the BS that is going on in our community.  God Bless.

Number 25, 60th Winchester is a joke. The Stones over there are straight pvssies. The Lords bang hard over there but the Lords on 55th Damen (5th Ward) and 55th Hoyne (Lordville) are straight murderers. This list is a joke. And the Stones from Moe Town (51st Lowe-Ashland) are straight killas. And I hang on 55th State at least three nights a week and practically live at the liquor store on the corner. The MC's and GD's and are straight gangsta but they are on some playa sh!t in the hood and only go to war about three times a year. But definitely Englewood murders the rest of country. CVLN for life.

STOP blaming the Mayor, The President. Because ULTIMATELY you can't BLAME some one else FOR your Struggles or Problems in the Community. When you Look inside yourself THEN you will have the Answers on how to better your Friends, Family, etc to make the world a better Place. The Mayor and/or President IS just one Person (just like you and me) HOW can we expect them to CHANGE US. They can give us "Blacks" Money a house in the Palisades on the BEACH -  but we would find a way to turn it into the GHETTO. Because WE "BLACKS" as a WHOLE is Stubborn To Change. Here is a thought to all the "gangstas" and ghetto rats.  STOP HAVING KIDS YOU CAN'T SUPPORT.  How many of you came from single parents who were single parents?  How many of you were raised by grandma-ma cause mama was out on the corner?  No money from the government or neighborhood rec centers will make you keep you dick in your pants or for you girls to keep your legs closed.  It is a prepetual problem.  Girl gets pregnant, can't/won't raise her baby properly, that baby grows up without the proper values or knowing how to love another, so they are cold and violent.  Then because they don't care about anything but themselves (learned behavior) they go out and get some girl pregnant or become pregnant and it starts all over again.  This is not a black or white thing.  This is a "stupid, selfish people" thing.  Thank you.

Wow, ChiTown South Side, you're really upset that your hood isn't one of the most dangerous, aren't you?  You may think murder is the only stat worthwhile, but tell that to the 115 lb woman who is gang raped by a group of your contemporaries.  I've always felt very strongly about civil rights for Americans but people like you and your "homies" are a blight on society.  Straight gansta?  Like killing people and hanging out in liquor stores is noble or good?  If it is any comfort, perhaps you will become a victim of a violent homicide while you are within the confines of your hood.  This way, YOUR neighborhood might also make the top 25!!

Education must be a cultural value to a society. The alternative is the list we're all talking about. Regardless of the style one adopts and portrays to society, "SouthSide ChiTown"'s, gangstas, hoes, are the behaviors we see parents modeling at home.The high school where I teach is smack dab in the heart of Little Haiti, the poorest, most crime-ridden and desperate part of Miami. Sociological issues in the community prevent the teenagers we try to educate from performing at grade-level on the mandatory State test. Consequently, after earning a State-awarded F for the fifth time in six years, this school is about to be shut down after 70 years. My perspective as one of only 3 white males on the faculty is this: crime starts in the home.  In neighborhoods like Over-the-Rhine parents are sending us their kids with ZERO respect for any type of authority and NO sense of right and wrong. How can you deal honestly with students who truly believe that "Snitches end up ditches with stitches?"  People, wake up. Better parents providing better homes produce better kids who produce better grades and get better jobs and become better parents. It's not about sneakers and X-Boxes. What your kids need is YOU, not stuff. You taxpayers don't pay me to parent your kid. I do my job of teaching my subject, but spend TOO much time in loco paternis.  Fathers, when your 17 year-old daughter wants to call me Dad because she never really had one, how do you think I feel? Mothers, the way I see your appearance when you visit my school makes your disrespect for what we do clear. Do your jobs, parents, so we can STOP having neighborhoods like these! 

So I'm an artist and I've been thinking... I'm going to make a weapon of mass destruction... and somehow... it's going to explode a chemical into the air that will turn every single human being into the same shade of blue... so that everyone can stop being stupid little fucking complaining idiots, who are ALL getting on my goshdarn nerves... I hang around 55th State (#2) at least three times a week. The GD's and MC's are some real brothas over their but the projects are gone and 2007 was when they were pushin wigs back; 2008 and 2009 weren't/aren't that bad.

66th Yale (#19) I don't really know about in detail. All I know is that those GD's over there are no joke, but so are the rest of the niggas on the South Side.

58th Wallace (#24) also known as Dark City is ran by the MC's with GD's on a couple of blocks. They have two flat row houses over there and they do tear holes and niggas' azzes and push wigs back. Top 25 in the country..I don't know but definitely top 25 in the city.

60 Winchester (#25) also known as J Town is ran by CVL's (my guys) but there are some Black Stones sharing the block. They all grew up together but they've been at odds lately with no one getting shot or killed. Back in the 80's J Town was decent but this hood has never been in the top100 in the city let along being 25th in the country. This is a flat joke. The Lords on 55th Damen and 55th Hoyne are in the top 20 in the Chi.

This is what happens when the white man try to explain the black man and all that he goes through in his daily life. A rough hood is a hood that you wouldn't walk through at night. From the Chi, on this list, would be number 19 and 24. You walk through there at night you might not get killed unless you're the opposition but you're definitely are going to get screened, harrassed, and shook down.

I am really tired of people doing freaking studies saying that crime is bad in these neighborhood. All the neighbor hood are in the same area something called Engle wood hell it has been bad over there. Whoever did this list fail to state that this is also a area right off the highway and that this is the area where the Mayor wants to have the olympics. A large park called Washington park with all this being said what is anyone doing to change the violence NOTHING. I want this article to go out and effect the people who might be getting a bad rep for the short coming of Gang memebers. I think more time should be spent on fixing the problems and not high lighting things for gangs.

WOW! I can not believe that so many have not arrived to want more, achieve more, strive for more regarding their surroundings. We do not have to be a product of our environment; however, we do have to want something more tangible in life other than see someone suffer. Are we our own worst enemy? Spike Lee said it “WAKE UP” Martin Luther King said “do not judge me by the color of my skin”. We have to achieve more self respect, education, self worth, self pride, and a sense of self about  ourselves and our neighbor hoods if not for our selves let it be for our children.
