Most TB cases found in India

Three million people
develop tuberculosis in the Southeast Asian region every year, India
reporting 22 per cent of these, and over half a million die of the
disease, says the latest World Health Organisation (WHO) report
released on Monday.

The 11 countries of the region which
account for 25 per cent of the world's population carry more than
one-third of the global burden of tuberculosis, the report said.


India and China record the highest number of TB cases globally, it said and added that, besides India, Banglades

I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story.

If I might make a suggestion, we're encouraging our members to move away from just pasting in stories they find. We think it's important to know why *you* think the stories are important. Add your own views, more links for context, some background, etc.

You obviously care a great deal about your subject, so why not let people know why its so important? I don't mean that every story has to be perfect and original, but one or two well sourced, written and engaging pieces gets more views than 20 copy and pasted stories.
