“Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was serious about those Lincoln-Douglas-style debates. Former Utah governor Jon Huntsman will participate in one of the long, free-form forums with Gingrich in New Hampshire this month. In announcing the event, the Huntsman campaign also disdainfully declined to participate in the Dec. 27 Donald Trump/Newsmax debate. Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney rejected the Gingrich debate.”

Is it fair to characterize Mr. Huntsman as Mr. Clean. So far, it appears that way. He’s a billionaire managing billions. He doesn’t need another billionaire drop out to moderate a Republican debate for him. He appears to be as much of an intellect as Gingrich, though Huntsman holds only a Bachelor’s degree. You see, money is power and that enabled him to land Ambassador Positions, along with his personal command of the Chinese language. Huntsman was a successful governor too. So, a matchup between the two would be interesting.

For Huntsman, he needs a knock-out. For Gingrich, he needs to think about all of that baggage strung along with him and behind him because sooner than later, it will come home to roost like girlfriends on Herman Cain.
