Mr. Dickey and Mr. Crist

Mary Mc Carty has resigned her seat in District 4 of the Palm Beach County Commission. In response, Karl Dickey has submitted his paperwork to Tallahassee [the capitol of Florida] to be considered for appointment. The following letter was written by me and any more information could be seen in Mr. Dickey's webpage:

Dear Governor Crist,

I would like to voice my support of Karl Dickey to be appointed to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Palm Beach County Commission in District 4 that was recently vacated by Mary McCarty.

I have known Mr. Dickey and have found him to be a very genuine person that would be an excellent commissioner. He is capable, understanding, and refreshingly honest.

You may know that he already filed to run for this position at the 2010 election so it shows he is not only interested in the position, however he is also prepared.

If you're interested in appointing someone that can be respected and is not from the “old guard”; someone without all the entanglements another appointment candidate may possess, then I strongly suggest your appointing Karl Dickey to the position.

I write this letter with the intention of supporting Mr. Dickey but also to inform the readers of Now Public that the Libertarian Party is far from dead. The letter and the article is of a personal opinion and reflection. Thank You
