MSNBC and CNN Cooking Ratings Numbers
Who is really surprised? How can the average American have any faith in the news that MSNBC or CNN manufacture. MSNBC is a an embarrassment with the drooling daily over Obama and CNN has a long record of unprofessional bias… This a post by Greta at FOX responding to pretty boy Anderson Cooper..mpress
Oh-oh…caught cooking the books!
The other day I whacked CNN in the blog in direct response to the executive producer of Anderson Cooper 360 gratuitously insulting ON THE RECORD..my staff and I work too hard to take a gratuitous insult…so I fired back….you would, too…..I assumed I would not be discussing CNN again …but I could not resist this latest emailed to me…..
CNN’S new approach: if the tv show Anderson Cooper 360 can’t win fair and square at 10pm against Fox News Channel ON THE RECORD…even with an astronomical $27 million p/r campaign that includes even life size cut outs of Anderson Cooper at the airport and in malls (and in answer to the anticipated question, no, no other journalists that I have noticed have or have had full size body cardboard cuts of themselves positioned in shopping malls or airports to promote themselves - that is a Hollywood celebrity gimmick that movie studios use)……..how about Plan B? CHEATING!
Yes…CNN has been caught “cooking the books” — check out this article from www.tvnewser.com that was emailed to me. ..and note even MS/NBC complains that CNN is cheating (it isn’t just Fox catching CNN) …

mpress, I like this story. It's good stuff. Go Greta. Greta's ratings have sky rocketed since she left CNN. CNN is in mourning. Anderson Cooper is excellent, but he is on at the wrong time. I would watch him when O'Reilly or Hannity and Colmes decides to do tabloid television. (something I despise).
Cooking the Books is a desirate attempt to remain valid. Newspapers used to do this, as they would print thousand of papers more then they would sell and would talk about their publication rates. Advertizers caught on and demaded the number of paid subscribers.
Now that Fox has more watchers then all the others cable news channels combined, CNN and MSNBC are trying to stay afloat. I guess if you can't win by quality, lie about your numbers. Greta is excellent, but she too needs to get off the tabliods. She is the best show for that type of reporting but how about constitutional issues and supreme court stuff. Maybe I am a total bore but that is why I watch the news.

Anderson Cooper made star status with his tearful reporting on Hurricane Katrina. But as soon as he got his own show, he lost objectivity. Guess what? The people of New Orleans no longer like this guy. Everytime he reports on New Orleans all he shows are the devastated parts and old footage. Trouble is many devastated parts were already in bad state before Katrina.
New Orleans is rebuilding in spite of the road blocks put up by FEMA and Road Home. It sparkles.
So no surprise they have to cook the ratings. Probably own the ratings company.
