Ed Schultz Calls Laura Ingraham 'Right Wing Slut' , 'Talk Slut'

Ed Schultz, host of MSNBC's "The Ed Show", is in trouble. During a rant on his radio show, Schultz called conservative radio host Laura Ingraham a "right-wing slut". 

Here's what Ed Schultz said: "President Obama is going to be visiting Joplin, Mo., on Sunday but you know what they’re talking about, like this right-wing slut, what’s her name?, Laura Ingraham? Yeah, she’s a talk slut."

News of Ed Schultz' sexist rant traveled fast, and it was only a matter of time before Laura Ingraham heard about it.

Laura Ingraham Responds

Laura Ingraham responded via Facebook: " First, I was surprised to learn that Ed Schultz actually hosted a radio show.  Is it only available online?  Second, I have to get back to recording the audio edition of my new book "Of Thee I Zing." Now I'm tempted to insert one additional zing--about men who preach civility but practice misogyny."

We should expect a hang-wringing apology any moment now, but it is very easy to imaging Ed Schultz getting fired, or at least suspended, by MSNBC over this.
