Former Libya Leader Muammar Gaddafi Is Dead. Here are Muammar Gadhafi Death Photos, Video

Muammar Gaddafi was killed Thursday by the forces that helped oust the former Libyan strongman. Libyan forces were not shy about releasing photos and video of a dead Muammar Gaddafi.

Gaddafi was 69 years old.

Al Jazeera has graphic video footage which purports to show Muammar Gaddafi's body.

Reports indicate that Gaddafi was shot in the head during fighting.

BBC reports that Muammar Gaddafi's body was taken to a mosque in Misrata.

"We announce to the world that Gadhafi has been killed at the hands of the revolution," said Abdel Hafez Ghoga.
