Sri Lankan Soildiers captured the 1st Forward Defence Line (FDL) Mukamalaai and Kilaly today 20th November 2008 at about 5.00 am morning ,pushing the Ltte lines 800m southward.
Over 50 Ltte tigers killed and many injured.10 Sri Lankan Soildiers died and 30 injured.Troops are Fighting since last saturday and finally achieved the victory.It is reported Ltte tiger's Second FDL is the most strong one.
Since last Saturday, heavy fighting in Muhamalai and Nagar Kovil FDLs northern Jaffna Peninsula.At the moment Sri Lanka Army tries to break the 2nd FDL. Both Sri Lanka Army and LTTE claimed about the fight. Heavy casualties for both parties. meanwhile SLA site says” Casualties among the troops were admitted to PALALY Military Hospital and some of them were airlifted for treatment elsewhere”.
Muhamalai is the gateway to the Jaffna town from A9 Road.Both parties erected strong bunker lines closes, the gap is about 100m to 700m.Sri Lanka Army 53 and 55 Divisions engaged in the Lines. It is reported around 2000 LTTE carders are there.In this year April, Sri Lankan Army launched an attack to Muhamalai FDL and later withdrew to lines again. Because of High moral with recent Military victories, this time they will overrun the FDLs.
Meanwhile it is reported that LTTE Built another Earth Bund via Pooneryn-Paranthan (B-69) road.Troops 58 now advancing towards the Paranthan junction and they will soon captured it.Troops 57 forwarding to capture Kilinochchi and THEY WILL soon capture Kokavil 59 to capture Nayaru.Also Omanthai Entry-Exit Point closed today.

I just cant understand, how these fighting erupts like volcano, when you are in control of guns?

Cease Fire Agreement (CFA) signed on February 22nd 2002 and LTTE has violated the CFA 3006 times, as opposed to 133 times by the Sri Lankan Government.Now it is terminated.

But this operation is killing the innocents,and i dont have any doubt that LTTE will bounce back once Army goes back to barrack.Then once again the situation will be same.
Talk is the only possible solution, atleast it keeps both the side busy.

Sri Lankan Army doing a war with Zero casuality for Civilions...Muhamalai Attack happened in a No man Zone.Only Army and LTte are there.Before Wanni Operation launched,400,000 Civilions came to government control areas and 200,000 traped by LTTE as a human shield in Mullativu district and there are no Operations yet.So no civilions killed.Even LTTE Official not claim any civilion Death.
