Multiple Tornadoes Hit South Carolina

Columbia, SC


During the Time we first added this article, our offices had a tornado pass 2 miles to our south. 
The Iron Mill Interactive Media office which contains Politisite.com was hit with severe storms with
Golf Ball size hail.  Wind gusts were approaching 65 miles per hour.  To our southeast there is extensive damage to Mobile homes.  Several injuries are being reported in the greater Columbia area.  We are now experiencing a second cell.


In Kershaw County to our North a Tornado just touched down.  We have reports of 5 tornadoes in Richland, Lexington, Newberry counties in the Midlands of South Carolina.


Reports are coming in of large trees down and home damage. One woman was extracted from her mobile home. Heavy property damage is being reported by the Sheriffs Department. The Sheriff in Prosperity County 8 homes destroyed.
