Murder committed over Picket Fences Row

Mussoorie, 10 July: A team of the Mussoorie Police by CO JC Tamta and SO, Mussoorie, Kukreti, were successful today in solving the murder committed on 22 April in “Lal Kothi”, Bataghat of Kirat Singh, a chowkidar from Pratap Nagar, Baldiana.
This was disclosed at a press conference held today by SSP Amit Sinha.
Providing the details of the incident, the SSP said that the suspect, Balbir, had an altercation with Kirat Singh on the issue of picket fencing. This turned into a brawl and one blow by Balbir above Kirat Singh’s heart, rendered the latter unconscious. In the process of falling, Kirat Singh snapped his spine and could not rise again. Thereafter, Balbir tied his feet with wire and quietly walked away.
