Murder suspects from Norfolk arrested in Florida

Tavon Pauly was a gang member with the well known gang "Bloods". Dawan didn't show enough respect for Tavon gang's reputation. That same night when they both were at the same party things got heated so they retaliated, a fight spilled out into the street and that's when Tavon Pauley produced a gun and shot Dawan dead.

Two men wanted for murder in Norfolk are under arrest in Florida.

Police say Joshua Michael Daly and Tavon Lemar Pauley were involved in the July 25 shooting death of Dawan Floyd.

The 23-year-old was found in the 100 block of Balview Avenue; he died on the way to the hospital.

The pair was arrested at a Broward Co. hotel on Tuesday after police investigated reports of a man selling drugs from one of the rooms.

They are being held in the county jail on no bond on charges of second degree murder.

Norfolk Police are headed to Florida to interview them, according to the Broward Co. Sheriff's Office.
