LAHORE: Muslim League-N Quaid, Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that the agreements, which were made with the US during Musharraf regime, should be made public.
On his arrival from London at the Allama Iqbal International Airport here, talking to the media, Mian Nawaz Sharif said that the US and the Allied Forces attitude towards Pakistan were unacceptable. He said that the policies should be framed on economic and other issues instead of six/ eight persons huddled in a room for formulating the policy.
Nawaz Sharif said that some people were creating instability for their personal interests, which would dent the democracy. Responding to a question, Nawaz Sharif said that he has no intention of running government in association with any Q-League and added that had the alliance with Q-League been possible, it would have been done in the presidential election. Nawaz Sharif said that judges’ restoration in such away was the validation of Pervez Musharraf’s actions. Following the vote of confidence, President Asif Zardari should vent out those sentiments, which his party has already expressed, he said.

Dear Hussain, this is the demand of every Pakistani that now all the matters should be made public as now democracy has been restored. Now there is no need of keeping the matters secret. At least I support the demand of Nawaz Sharif. A lot of thanks for this important story.

But you know, the PPP leadership seems ready to go extra mile than Musharraf in support of the US.

Dear Hussain, I just ask a simple question. Can Pakistan afford war with the United States? Why I admire Pervez Musharraf? Because he saved Pakistan from a war with Unite States. Though he ordered killing of tribesmen, but still he saved Pakistan. Killing of a few thousands of tribesmen, I think, will not be matter of concern for most of Pakistanis.

The simple answer is that neither of the two countries can afford war with each other. Musharraf did not save Pakistan, rather he sold a nuclear state. Do you know when Bush had asked Musharraf to side with the US, Musharraf agreed to much more than Bush expected. It's not my imagination, it is a fact and has been stated by the US officials. His immediate yes to abandon Taliban and support the US encouraged Bush to such an extent that he is still demanding more despite the fact that Pakistan has suffered manifold casualties, both civilians and military, as compared to the rest of the world including those who died in the 9/11 attacks.
Ironically, we always consider ourselves very weak, whereas we are not as much weak as we consider ourselves. No ruler or state can be given right to kill its own people. Don't think that I oppose you just for the sake of opposition. Although I do not belong to the tribal areas, I am living in the capital of Pakistan and near GHQ. So whatever I know you can't because of being far away from the capital where decisions are taken.
If you consider me a Punjabi, you are wrong because first I am a Muslim, then Pakistani and anything else. Did you see Mr Ayaz Amir's article in The News of Friday. I completely agree with him and if you do not, please keep in mind that he is a retired military officer, a politician as well as an analyst.
