Muslim denied seat near Obama
Opinion
Barry Artiste, Now Public Contributor
We have all heard of Product Placement in Movies, where a Company pays the movie industry to have an actor hold of stand near a product featured in Big Budget Movies.
Barack Obama is no different to the Democrat, Obama is a product they wish to feature to the american people.
Yep, Obama spinmeisters certainly know how to place Obama in a light that avoids any perception of his muslim roots with the American Voter.
Wow, who knew racism and hypocrisy was rampant with the democrats? Wait!, I know, pretty much anyone who has dealth with Policitians know, they would sell their soul to the devil to get elected. At least the Republicans do not sugar coat it and tell it like it is instead of hiding their biases from those they wish to impress, only to do an about turn later on when in office.
Yep, welcome to democracy.
By the way the Muslim woman in the photo is just an unrelated, undated photo of a woman.
DETROIT -- A young Muslim woman said she and another woman were refused seats directly behind Barack Obama -- and in front of TV cameras -- at a Detroit rally because they wear head scarves.
Hebba Aref said yesterday that she and Shimaa Abdelfadeel were among 20,000 supporters who gathered to see the Democratic presidential hopeful on Monday at the Joe Louis Arena when the groups they were with were separately invited by Obama campaign volunteers to sit behind the podium.
But Aref said the volunteers told members of both parties in separate discussions that women wearing hijabs, the traditional Muslim head scarves, weren't included in the invitation and couldn't sit behind the podium.
'SENSITIVE' CLIMATE
Aref, a 25-year-old lawyer, said a member of her group was told by a volunteer that she could not invite Aref because of "a sensitive political climate."

Barry Artiste, I like this story. It's good stuff. Yeah, He's going to bring everyone together as one. He did'nt want these woman beind him because some right wing bloggers (gossips) have called Obama Muslim. So what? He had gone to a Christian church for 20 years, although liberation theology is a bit Marxist. When the one Muslim won a seat in Congress and he wanted to use the Koran to be swore in by, I can't understand why my right wing buddies got so bent out of shape? What do you want him to swear on a document he doesn't believe totally? Let the guy swear or affirm on the holy book of his choice. There is a lot more wrong with Obama then he has a Muslim name. Our right wing blogger friends should stick to the issues, not pass photos of Obama in Nigerian Garb. So there I said it! Good suff as usual barry. Your number 1! your number 1!

Sorry for not getting back to my stories sooner, work has been a B*tch, and I am having a few issues in that I am unable to post comments on here, but the Now Public development team are trying to figure out why, as it doesn't matter if it is my home computer or work computer.
In response Politisite, you have expressed my sentiments exactly, they should stick to issues at hand. My story I felt was not just portraying Obama but their spin doctors in any political party whether here or in Canada who use their Candidate much like a Prop or Latest Flashy Car. Obama is starting to look more like a puppet than the Man people want to lead this country. As you so eloquently put it on a Muslim Congress man with conviction in that "What do you want him to swear on a document he doesn't believe totally". The same for Obama, did he do this or was his political puppetmasters pulling the strings? Do the American people want someone who "Spouts Freedom and Equality for all" except for you lady over their in the headscarf! If they do this to Muslims, who is next? Oh I know rural white Christians with Guns! God, you know you and I bang our heads against the wall trying to apprise people of hypocrisy in politics, but it seems some detractors are wearing blinders to the obvious. I am as far right as they come, but if someone has good sound policies, regardless of their party affiliation, I would vote for them.
Either way, Obama and his party as far as I am concerned are hypocritical, if there was a predominately Muslim city in the US whose votes would make a do or die difference in his getting elected, guaranteed Obama and the Democratic handlers would be embracing the Muslim culture , with baby kissing, regaling the Muslim population of his roots, yadda, yadda, yadda.
My friend, I see it here in Vancouver with our self serving ethnic vote grabbing politicians, though Muslim Canadians are conservative by nature can see right through our politicians devious mantras. But we have other cultures here in British Columbia who lap up whatever our politicians lay out. These are mostly New Canadians who are recent arrivals and are so friggin happy to be in Canada they'll vote for Spongebob Squarepants id they think he will listen to them on issues affecting them.
Anyways, love the comments, and thanks for visiting.

Yesterday I saw on tv Obama's campaign said that was not true. They show on tv Obama in a picture with several women and a couple of them were muslim.

Thank you Azzy, Funny since this story broke all of a sudden stations like ABC are now airing Obama with every colour of the rainbow, most likely his party made a mistake and are trying to flood the media with muslim friendly photo ops.

Thanks Azzy for the comment, Racism is in every fabric of society, like breathing. That does not mean it is right, it is just there.
