Mussolini was British secret agent: Report
Barry Artiste Op/Ed
Well aint that a kick in the Spicy Meat-a-balls, Facism had a price and that price was money!
LONDON — Italian dictator Benito Mussolini had a brief career as a British secret agent, the Guardian newspaper reported Wednesday, quoting research by a Cambridge University historian.
In 1917, Mussolini, then working as a journalist, was paid 100 pounds a week by security service MI5 to campaign for Italy to continue to fight alongside the allies in World War One.
"Britain's least reliable ally in the war at the time was Italy after the revolutionary Russia's pullout from the conflict," Cambridge historian Peter Martland told the Guardian.

Not a big surprise, Barry.
Uncle Bin Laden was a US agent, once upon a time.

Mussolini was not a fascist then. He was a socialist and invented fascism, a pure act of evil genius, to get around the fact that Marxism's internationalist side destroyed the folkways of people.

"Marxism's internationalist side destroyed the folkways of people."
How amazing, is it not?
In similar lines Laddu also (re)invented the medieval version of Islam and a time machine, so to protect "the people™" from the "evil influence™" of Communism and then the devilish Western™ culture™.

The Daily Mail was a Nazi sympathiser newspaper before war broke out, Barry - no real surprise at all, really.
People still read that rag today - it would be excellent FOX fodder.
