The father of the child, Babu Khan, who is a private taxi driver, said that in the afternoon of 18 July, he was summoned by the school authorities. They said that there was a problem with his child regarding an iPod which was found in his possession belonging to some senior students. The father, Babu Khan, immediately rushed to the school to get the full details of the matter. After being explained the entire issue, the father asked that his child be brought to him so that he could take him home. But Arif was not to be found. The child, fearing a scolding from his parents and out of fear of the senior students, is believed to have discreetly slipped out from one of the gates. When the child could not be traced in school, Babu Khan searched for him everywhere he could possibly be, including the houses of friends and well-wishers but to no avail. It is important to add the missionary schools in mussoorie now have become money spinners and cause of cheap education to the poor has been forgotten.
The sole objective of these organisation is to reap in as much money from the boarders with exhorbitant fees and the local p[opulation children are neglected as they cannot pay such high fees.
Their parent funding agencies should investigate into this as grants are accepted in the name of poor students.
The St.George college is run by Patrician brothers and they threaten their close links with the politicians and buerocrats whosw children study in these schools it is alleged.
The missing child is of a Poor taxi driver who is working day and nioght to provide english medium education to his child.
such institutions should be condemned in strongest words.
would the reaction of the school authorities be same if it would have been a child of some buerocrat or a politician.
