MUSSOORIE, 5 Dec: The residents and tourists, alike, were delighted as the ominous looking clouds showered the first snow of the season, here. The town had been waiting for this day since the beginning of the season.
This winter has been different in Mussoorie, as it has been without rain till this day. The tourists who arrived today were lucky to witness the first snowfall of the season. The children, in particular, came out of their houses wearing woollens and frolicked in the snow. The snow was followed by a shower of hail and rain. The adjacent high mountain peaks were covered with fresh snow. The metrological department has predicted more rains and snow in the coming days.[/q].
