NP Rank:
My Krups crapped
The replacement Krups had a different turn-type knob for on and off, appearing to be a WWII era tough-German-style Krupp design. Wait a minute is Krup the same as Krupp? Whoa, investigate.
I have the Krups XP1020 750-Watt Steam Espresso Machine with 4-Cup Glass Carafe. The problem is the glass carafe handle has broken. Now, I have to find something else to insert in its place because Krups said they are out of carafes. Apparently, everyone is having the same problem with the Krups carafe handle.
Who are these people, Krup?
Krups USA is in New Jersey.

Oh yes, they aren’t Krups. They are the Kortz and Krups is the nephew.
“The story begins in a forge in the town of Wald, near Solingen, in North Rhine-Westphalia. The owner, Josua Kortz has several friends working for him, including his nephew, Robert Krups. The latter's son, also called Robert, will turn the forge into an industrial company.
After transferring their operations to Solingen, Robert Krups (the second to bear the name) and four of his nine children quickly transforms the company into a renowned factory, delivering its products to Holland and Switzerland.
In 1956, Krups launches the first electric coffee grinders. As proof of the consumer’s appetite for these new appliances, Krups sells 1 million of these grinders in their first year of manufacture.”
Krups is out of carafes and now I must look for a new way to make espresso. Got any recommendations NowPublic, crowd-powered coffeemakers?

What about DiMaggio for an Italian espresso coffeemaker? It cranks a deep rich espresso and tops it with a blond bombshell.
