Mysterious Gojra discord

The Gojra inferno has set off a torrent of country-wide condemnation for subjecting the Christian Pakistanis to criminal violence based on concocted case of blasphemy.

Federal Minister Maulana Ataur Rehman said the desecration of Holy Qur’aan is a big crime but the murder of a human being is a much bigger criminal act in Islam.

During the week, Pakistanis within and outside the country hung their heads in grief and shame, while the government flexed to calm the bereaved, vowing to bring the culprits to book in a week’s time. The government docked no lenience for the extremist criminals as well as regional administration for disregarding the orders of ’swift action’ from Lahore that could have prevented this untoward tragedy.
