Why is he here and now? Coincidental? Out of the wood work? Strange happenings and occurrences lurk in the presence of Slippery Pete and his comrade Durango Jack. And where is he, Durango Jack the sidekick? Korea?  North or South? Burma or Myanmar?  D.C. or A.C. (Atlantic City). 

Why is he Slippery Pete walking to the site of the Washington Metro Red Line train wreck in the middle of the daytime? Why isn't he working? Does he have a job? If so why isn't he there and if not how does he support himself?
