North Korea will run out of cash and ammunition soon enough. It is a Poker game they are playing. Further NK is in the middle of a power transition and no one is really in charge at this time. No one is supporting NK any longer or supplying weapons. They are on their own and can not keep this up for to long.
Why patience is well advised as well as keeping once cool.

We should look for Peace, Love and Understanding in the region.

Peace and Love are all well and good, however, responsibility for previous mistakes might be more effective. To wit, the aquiecing to the soviets after wwll and splitting of vietnam and korea into two political states when none existed previous to that war is what needs to be fixed or at least tried. Kim very ill's mantra has been a united korea under his rule. Very well offer the koreas a united election on reunification via U.N. supervision , with multiple candidates and viewpoints with the winner becoming the new leader of a united korea, if kim loses abunch of bucks and his own island somewhere, as saddam was offered and refused before gulf war one. At the least it would undermine his local support and maybe avoid military action. The idea that he is almost out of money? Wishful thinking, where did he get the money in the first place? 12 raptors in okinawa is proof the japanese are worried-also prevents them from further military development-also serves as a gentle warning to very Il that there are options and is in my view the right move
