Nadya Suleman Admits to Exaggerating About Upcoming Uterus Surger
OctoMom wants to set the record straight
A couple of days ago, Nadya Suleman made a very shocking statement, saying she was about to have her uterus partially removed, a procedure that would have made it impossible for her to have any other children. Perhaps intimidated by the sudden wave of response from the community, Suleman is now taking back some of her words, via a new interview with Radar Online.
She was a bit out of line when she told the same media outlet that she was having her uterus partially removed and she would no longer be able to have children, Suleman says now. Moreover, she explains, the procedure will only mean the removal of fibroids from the uterus and might actually make her more fertile than before.
“OctoMom Nadya Suleman says she wants to clear up some confusion about her upcoming surgery. In an exclusive new interview with Radar Online, Suleman says she ‘exaggerated’ when she recently said she was having half of her uterus removed and that she wouldn’t be able to have any more children. She says she’s actually having a ‘myomectomy,’ a procedure in which doctors remove fibroids from the uterus. She says the operation will actually ‘enhance; her fertility, but that she does not intend to have any more children.” Radar Online writes of the upcoming interview.
When she first made the announcement, Suleman also hinted that she might be having the surgery over the past weekend – which, obviously, has not happened. At the same time, she said it was the fibroids that prevented her from getting pregnant when she wanted to and had to resort to IV, which, in turn, led to the birth of the octuplets.
“OctoMom Nadya Suleman will check into the hospital this weekend to have benign fibroid tumors removed from her uterus – a procedure that will make further pregnancies virtually impossible, Radar Online has exclusively learned. Suleman will leave her eight infants and six older children in the care of her nannies, as the procedure and recovery are expected to take up to seven days. In a brand new interview, Nadya talks about her fears as she prepares to go under the knife. ‘I’m terrified,’ she tells us, and adds that she needs to get a will done, just as a precaution.” Radar was saying a couple of days ago, citing Suleman herself.
The date for the surgery has not yet been made public. As a side note, skeptics believe Suleman is actually admitting herself to a hospital to have a tummy tuck and perhaps some surgery on her chest as well. Of course, as of now, this is only in the realm of speculation.
