Nancy Salas Missing: Ground Search Called Off in California

Nancy Salas is Still Missing But Police Have Accounced They Have Called Off the Ground Search
Nancy Salas has been missing since going for a run in a canyon just northeast of Los Angeles, and the 22-year-old has not been seen or heard from since. Her keys, car and her cell phone were left at her home in Glendale and police are treating her disappearance as suspicious.
According to police Sgt. Tom Lorenz and Forbes, the police have now called off the ground search and are now looking at cell phone and computer records.
On a website about her disappearance it states that she was last seen in the Glendale area in a Silver VW Passat with three men inside it.
Police, rangers, bloodhounds and a helicopter searched late into the night without success. Lorenz says the official search ended around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to the LA Times the bloodhounds did find a scent briefly on Wednesday but could not find any trace of Nancy Salas. When she went missing she was wearing a yellow jacket, dark pants and a white t-shirt and sneakers.
Friends are family are still looking around the area, and are distributing flyers and connecting with people online.
Nancy Salas is a third-year UCLA student and she has no known history of family problems or relationship problems and has never done this before.
