UK teachers think they can identify the students most likely to be naughty in class just by looking at the names in the class register, according to a recent poll of school teachers by parenting club Bounty.com.

In the study, 3,000 teachers formulated the "Teachers Pet and Pest Name Chart." The "Teachers Pest Chart" includes the following names:

  • Callum
  • Connor
  • Jack
  • Daniel
  • Brandon
  • Charlie
  • Chelsea
  • Courtney
  • Chardonnay
  • Aleisha
  • Casey
  • Crystal

Do not worry if your kids' names appear in the above list, because 57 per cent of the surveyed teachers reported that the naughtiest children were also the most popular and the best at making friends. The survey also asked teachers what the brightest children tended to be called, and the names are:

  • Alexander
  • Adam
  • Christopher
  • Benjamin
  • Edward
  • Elizabeth
  • Charlotte
  • Emma
  • Hannah
  • Rebecca
The poll also revealed 49 per cent of teachers make assumptions about a child when they take their first look at the register in September. The same percentage admitted a sense of foreboding when they glimpse the names at the register on the first day of term.
Teachers are only human and make assumptions like the rest of us,' said Faye Mingo, from Bounty.com. 'It's only natural for teachers to make judgments based on the behaviour and performance of former pupils with the same name but I'm sure that they are happy for to be proved wrong.'

What the hell does the UK as a whole know about anything?  After a nice series of failed empires and population control measures across continent after continent, they've been relegated to doing it solely at home.Orwell won, England ignored him, the rest of the world is disgusted with what Brittania has become, and articles like this continue to prove the social decay everyone not-English keeps howling about.Brits ought to be ashamed of themselves.  Only good thing they have is a Parliament with members who cheerfully insult each other.
