Neftaly Platero Charged With Killing 2 Fellow U.S. Troops

Neftaly Platero Has Been Charged With Killing Pfc. Gebrah Noonan and Spc. John Carrillo Jr, and Wounding One Other

Army Spc. Neftaly Platero has been charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder after a shooting that occurred September 23 in Fallujah. 

According to the Canadian Press, Platero shot his fellow soldiers after an argument, and while the U.S. military described the killings as premeditated but they did not provide any further details.

Noonan and Carrillo died the day after the shooting and Platero is now being held in pretrial confinement in Kuwait.
