Another tourist has been knocked down in Negril, and is in hospital with leg injuries.

On 1st Feb, 26 year old Justin Holland from New Jersey USA, was killed whilst trying to cross the road in Negril Jamaica. As a result of this tragic incident members of the negril.com message board have set up a petition calling for road safety measures in Negril. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/negrilroadsafety

As spring break approaches can we ask those heading to Negril and their families to make sure that they take extra care when on or near the roads.

the road safety issue in Negril is a serous thing and they should certainly consider adding speed bumps to the roads and increasing fines for speeding violations on Negril Beach
