Netherlands will help Greece with asylum seekers

Nederland will be helping its neighbor with better weather, Greece with asylum seekers. A sort of floating processing center seems to be what they are talking about. How is it decided where in EU asylumseekers will end up?
Following a meeting in Athens with Greek officials involved in monitoring the border, the minister said it is important for European countries to work together to combat illegal immigration. She told Dutch public broadcaster NOS "If we do not invest in cooperation with countries on the southern European border, we will never solve our own migration problem."
The Greek authorities are planning to use a cruise ship to pick up asylum seekers who arrive on the Greek islands in small boats. The idea is that the ship will sail to wherever the asylum seekers are and that procedures begin on board. According to Ms Albayrak the key issue is to determine whether an asylum seeker is entitled to protection or whether the person is an economic migrant.

Even though the Netherlands and Greece are both on the same continent, they are not neighbors, there are a few countries between the two, such as Germany, Austria, Magyarorszag, Romania and Bulgaria.
Thank you for the post here. The idea may help as the Greek propose it, however it wont solve the problem. Europe is getting flooded with Asylum seekers and it is getting worth with every passing year.
Part of the solution needs to be that Canada, the US and Australia do a lot more in this are them self and take in far greater numbers of asylum seeker as they are doing now.

My best friend lives in Greece and she tells me of this problem all the time - but yes it won't solve the problem.

Its a shame on Greece....I imagine a christian country treating people like animals!!Even animals are not supposed to be treated the way they used to treat Human beings....I have many friends who keep telling me all this shit..its getting to a stage of irrisistable!!Schenghen and Eu need to do something about this.I see efforts of the E.U Norway and other countries...They can never change...Lets practise what is in the Bible!!!There is still a time for change cos this world will never be eternity....Work for the eternity world!!Help those who wants help from you...Dont look down on the assylum seekers...They are great people are people like you!!!!Think about this!!!!Alex!!
