A New Dead Sea Scroll?

Ada Yardeni is an Israel scholar who first published the Idea that there was a new Dead Sea Scroll that was "written in ink on stone and dates to about the late first century B.C. and early first century A.D. This version is known as "Gabriel's Vision". It consists of 87 lines, divided into two columns. It's a first person narrative, evidently by a person named Gabriel. Israel Knohl, a scholar at the Hebrew University notably said (July 6) that this version gives new insight into the early Jewish and Christian concepts of Jesus. "In this pre-Christian Jewish text, he finds references to two different concepts of the messiah- one, the Messiah son of David and the other, the Messiah, son of Joseph (Ephraim). The Messiah, son of David, is one we are very famaliar with. This Messiah is to claim victory; a military victory if you will over the battle of evil. The new Messiah introduced is one that who "suffered, died and rose." The latter content will be revealed in the September/October release of Biblical Archaeology Magazine.
