A plane crashed near Interstate 287 in Morris County, New Jersey on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Three people may have died in the New Jersey plane crash.

According to the FAA, the plane that crashed was a Socata TBM-700 single-engine turboprop that had taken off from Teterboro Airport.

After takeoff, the plane fell off the radar and crashed near Exit 34 of Interstate 287.

One witness said she saw some "breaking off" the plane before it crashed.
