The NEW job shortage.

Obama sold new jobs during his campaign. New “high tech” jobs, new “better paying” jobs, and jobs in “new high tech alternative fuel industries to power this nation into a new era”. Check that quote, I’m almost positive it is EXACTLY what Obama said.

Now we hear nothing of NEW. We hear about pumping billions into the American auto industry in a “rush”. We hear about pumping money into education to make a new skilled work force but what about the job deficit we have now? What about the growing unemployed numbers we have NOW?

The news today is that all the out of work AUTO UNION WORKERS are going to school for re-education.

So it appears that the job deficit we have now, and the added job deficit we are growing every day by not starting the “NEW” industries is going to snowball.

This is just another indicator that we are WAY past the point of no return. We passed that line about 10 years ago. We will NEVER be able to create even a fraction of the jobs we will need at the rate the Obama plan will provide them.

They want to spend $3T and they can’t even count ONE job they will create. Not even one. Those are not very good numbers.

Exponential down word spiral in speed and proportion. Wrong approach take with the Bail outs. Reforms and vision was needed.

By the end of his first term the US will be be on recovery and face internal conflicts that may tear it apart.

Well from what I've seen over the past 40 years, this is absolutley the same old business as usual. I watched Obamas speaches I even took notes as I liked what he said.

I don't hear a hint of any of it now. Just seems very odd that he took the plan George had started and before it was finished said it needed to be rushed for approval.

Now we have a $3T plan that creates no jobs, has no assurance or regulations, and no one thinks it will work.

If you can't see the events unfolding here you will soon. Maybe Obama inherited this problem, then he acellerated the production of deficit and debt by 300%. Thats just his fist month.

Still not one word on the individuals and small business grants. I asked at the post office today. They never heard of any government forms available for anything.

OK lets give Obama a break.. Tell me ONE thing he has done that he promised in his campaign.. (And giving $300B to the big 3 was not mentioned in his campaign.) I can't think of one thing. But it is his FIRST month.

I have noticed job listings on Craigs List have been reduced to people looking for contractors to supply license information for Building permits, and dodging the county red tape, and people complaining about jobs they did or didn't get from Craigs list posters, and of course people looking for work.

I talked to one of the draftsmen at a local Engineering company. I asked how it was looking as far as new development. He said with a stunned look "we're dead, we have nothing coming up". He said they have a few small projects but nothing substantial. He said they only have 10 people left on the payroll when thay had 50. This company clears land and sets the storm drains and roads and utilities. They do road projects for the state county and cities. They have dump-trucks and grade equipment and track hoes and loaders all sitting there. I have never seen them with no work.
