She was lured by the bright lights and attitude of Las Vegas, but Jessie Foster's time here was troubled and short-lived. No one has seen or heard from her since March of 2006.

"I really think on this earth I will see my Jessie again. I don't know why or how," said Jessie's mother Glendene Grant.

Jessie's mother is holding out hope her daughter is alive, but Grant is also closely following Tuesday's discovery in the North Las Vegas desert.

Searchers with the Nevada Center for Missing Loved Ones, working on Foster's case, spotted the bones. A psychic allegedly looking for Foster led them to the area.

"We notified North Las Vegas Police Department. They came out, did their investigation, collected the bones, and made a report," said Frank Mahoney with NCMLO.

The Clark County Coroner will determine if the bones are human or animal.

"I hope they're not human, and I hope they're not my daughter's," said Grant.

Foster's last known location was with her boyfriend, Peter Todd, at their home on Cornerstone Place. No one has been named a suspect in the disappearance.

Foster got busted twice for prostitution, but even in bad times, always kept in touch with her family back in Canada until she suddenly vanished, "The closure won't come until maybe I'm up in heaven holding Jessie, if Jessie is not alive."

There's been no sign or sightings of her at all. Her bank accounts, credit cards, and phone have never been touched. Police are investigating and looking into the idea she may be a human trafficking victim from in the sex trade.

Investigators hope the bones will shed light on this perplexing mystery. The coroner's office says it will take some time for an anthropologist to test the bones. If they are human, DNA testing will have to be done to determine if they are Jessie Foster's.

"Foster's last known location was with her boyfriend, Peter Todd, at their home on Cornerstone Place. No one has been named a suspect in the disappearance."

Does this mean that Peter Todd was cleared of any involvement in Jessie's disappearance?

I am not sure how when he was the last to see her and she went missing from the home they shared...I think the media just has to watch their P's & Q's.

Hi JessiesMomGlendene! I'm not sure what you mean by "...the media just has to watch their P's & Q's." My question however is, and given that:

"Foster's last known location was with her boyfriend, Peter Todd, at their home on Cornerstone Place. No one has been named a suspect in the disappearance."

Does this mean that Peter Todd was cleared of any involvement in Jessie's disappearance?

They just have to be careful about what they say, for legal reasons - that is just an old saying....shows my age, doesn't it.
