The Colombo Family took a "Hit" when Tommy Shots, was arrested by authourites and seven other mobsters.
Mobsters, now there is a word you don't hear anymore, much less Colombo Family, outside of New York.
Mafiaso Crime Families, a word one would think of when any racket or hit would take place and hitting the Front Page, seem to be taking a backseat in Noriety, when Asian Crime Syndicates, Hell Angels and other splinter crime groups seem to be taking over.

NEW YORK -- Eight suspected mobsters, including a reputed acting Colombo boss, have been arrested as part of a takedown of the organized crime family, U.S. federal authorities said yesterday.
The reputed acting crime boss is Thomas "Tommy Shots" Gioeli.
In addition to the eight arrests, authorities are charging other suspects already behind bars.
Three of the defendants are accused of four murders dating back to the early 1990s. One of those cases was a double homicide, part of a bloody war between two factions within the Colombo family.
It's the second splashy mob case in a week in New York City.
