New York State Senate to meet in special gay marriage session

On Tuesday November 10, the New York State senate will convene in a special session to discuss marriage equality.

New York Governor David Paterson called for the session last week and the bill is on the agenda for tomorrow’s meeting.

Several state senators are calling for a vote tomorrow. and a recent report in the New York Times has quoted at least one Senator as saying the vote is "likely".
