News Wanted: OBAMA a Manchurian Candidate?

Being Canadian, I do not really follow American Politics, I am not qualified to really comment either way on any candidate. I only know what I read from others on here on Now Public, certainly interesting, in order to understand American Politics, I did some digging on all parties, Obama, Hillary and McLean, what kept popping up was news on Obama, some good, some bad. 

I did some research on Obama, more as a curiousity, I found some things Googling and other Search Engines which I posted below, some from email sources as well I deem reliable, and some which look like they came out a X-Files Mel Gibson Rant. 

I propose a Challenge to all Now Public Citizen Journalists everywhere who can add to this story, dispute or verify any of the these facts I have posted below.

Pretty much Two Stories or Blurbs constantly came up in Search Engines of which I have posted and perhaps Now Public Citizen Journalist can choose to research and report on or both.

A Challenge I propose to those who may be tired of just cutting and pasting and highlighting others news stories and perhaps make the News instead of relying on others to do it for you.

Certainly I feel a challenge for those who can do some research, like a real journalist as I have this weekend.

You can post your views and thoughts from Mainstream Media or Media links you have garnered from Blogs and other Media sources. 

I feel as long as it is not Flaming, kept clean and accurate as we strive to ensure journalistic integrity is not challenged, in a fair, impartial and balanced reporting on Obama, we could provide our Now Public Citizen Journalists a damn good read,  because after all, isn't that what balanced Journalism and Now Public is all about.  If you have a story link on any of this below, put it in the comment section, and add your views as well.

Why do this? Well it looks like Hillary may be dead in the Water, McCain is pretty much an open book.

That leaves Obama, who by far is the most popular candidate in the US today. A Media Darling, so let's find out more, more we may not know considering a few of his faux pas which have recently come to light in America, is he really the media darling and Oprah poster Boy.  It is your job to yay or nay whether all the hype is real or not.

First Story

Two years ago, Hatem El-Hady was the chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic charity, Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen. Today, El-Hady has redirected his fundraising efforts for his newest cause - Barack Obama for President.

El-Hady has his own dedicated page on Barack Obama's official website, chronicling his fundraising on behalf of the Democratic Party presidential candidate. Not only that, but he has none other than Barack Obama's wife, Michelle Obama, listed as one of his friends (one of her 224 listed friends).

Second Story

In the last Presidential election, George Soros  called defeating President Bush "the central focus of my life" and a "matter of life and death. More here And so it begins again.

Described by the New York Times as "The world's single largest donor" (Dec. 17,1996), Soros uses his philanthropy to change - or more accurately deconstruct - the moral values and attitudes of the Western world, and particularly of the American people. While others give to the arts and higher education or to better the quality of the lives of their fellow men, Soros funds campaigns for euthanasia and to legalize illegal drugs.
