Visitor with gun upset Keg was closed
By ROB LAMBERTI, SUN MEDIA
TORONTO -- A visitor from Mexico faces weapons charges after a would-be restaurant customer threatened workers with a pistol at a downtown eatery because the establishment was closed.
Toronto Police also arrested a woman who was with the man in the Monday afternoon incident at the Keg Mansion on Jarvis St., near Wellesley St. Police said yesterday a man waved the pistol around 3:30 p.m. when he was told meals wouldn't be available for at least 30 minutes.
The man demanded to be served and became aggravated when told he had to wait. He pulled out a handgun and waved it around, police said.
The weapon wasn't pointed at anyone during the drama, police said. Staff members also spotted a second pistol tucked into the man's pants waistband, police said.
THREE GUNS Officers, who made the arrest, found a third handgun, small quantities of crystal meth and cocaine and $200,000 US cash, police said.
Two of the handguns were .357-magnum pistols and the other was a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol. Police said none of the handguns were loaded. Julio Cesar Araujo Figueroa, 23, of Mexico, who has a visitor's visa to be in Canada until December, has been charged with three counts each of unauthorized possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, careless storage and possessing a firearm obtained by crime, and single counts of careless storage of ammunition and threatening death.

Barry Artiste, I like this story. It's good stuff. But... maybe you should make a slight alteration to the headline.

Thanks Blue for the comment and visiting. Much appreciated. Yeah, them sharp plastic lips on them Tim Horton cups can really, really hurt and cut your lip.
Best Toronto spend taxpayers 100 million dollars banning them, or using them as Ninja stars to throw at criminals. Hey they might just replace Tasers!
