Now that Oil prises is slowly going down, after some massive spending in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for a wile the speculator calmed down as news came of a more stable Iraq and maybe because much of the focus these days has been on the Olympics with rumours and defamation as well as scare tactics to the point that one does no longer know what is actually true and what is plain propaganda!
Well, here comes along the next crisis will no one really does pay any attention, No not Niger as I reported before, wile the troubles and fighting in Niger goes on with weapons from the USA and China a new war is gaining in dimension and proportion!
One of the World greatest Oil producer, namely Nigeria not to be confused with Niger please! Has some growing and major trouble for some time now, however so far the Government was able to contain it and the rebellion was scattered and disorganised!
That has changed though, since the so called rebels seem to be well armed now and well organised as well, they must have fund a sponsor and some coaching some where!
My guess would be that since Oil is a rather well desired commodity these days and since the Nether Lands, GB, and the USA are the once controlling the oil in Nigeria they would certainly not arm the rebels nor train them even though those rebels do fight for democratic rights and against a rather corrupt and Oppressing Government!
Well, your guess is as good as mine at this point. Nevertheless, the problem has escalated now to the point that MEND (movement of the emancipation of the Niger delta) has managed to paralyse or at least halt the Oil production to the point that one of the biggest Oil companies in Nigeria namely Shell has evoked a special close Called Force Majeure since it can no longer fulfil it obligation as to deliver crude Oil to its costumers in the USA and Europe!
The MEND has succeeded in sabotaging enough oil Pipelines and holding the Nigerian army at bay that the Oil production of Nigeria is about to collapse!
Well, better fill up those tanks now, for nest week the Oil prise will most likely go back up!
