Surgeons are celebrating a European first with five lifesaving transplant operations from two donors in 24 hours.

In a stunning display of teamwork, NHS doctors and nurses gave hope to three seriously-ill children, including an eight-month-old baby, and two adults given less than two years to live.

Other organs were sent elsewhere in the UK to assist terminally ill patients. Altogether 15 people received the gift of life as a result of the marathon effort at two Birmingham hospitals.

Not one of the patients had a problem with no medical cover insurance, as they are all citizens of UK. The benefit of being British and having a national health system.

So stop frowning at our National Health Service it more than often serves a very good service for our citizens care.  40,000,000 US citizens have no health cover what so ever!

No social care in the USA, no responsibility to look after the weakest, poorest members of your society. Sort of makes you proud to be an American........ at a guess.

The British national health fights back expect more of this PR to show the truth to our American buddies...
