NI Latest: Police arrest two men for cop shooting
Police have made arrests regarding the shooting of a Northern Irish policeman, Stephen Paul Carroll on Monday night.
This afternoon [Tuesday] police arrested a 17-year-old teenager and then a 37-year-old man later that same day, both suspects are being held regarding the murder.
PC Carroll, 48, was shot dead after he was ambushed, the Continuity IRA say they carried out the murder.
It came two days after Mark Quinsey, 23, and Patrick Azimkar, 21, both British soldiers were killed by two masked gunmen by the Real IRA at their barracks.
There have also been reports of disturbances in the Craigavon area of trouble in the some streets where wheely bins were set on fire
It was believe it was because police have raided homes in that area in regards to the shooting.

Two men, aged 17 and 37, have been arrested in connection with the murder of a policeman in Northern Ireland.
Dissident republican group, the Continuity IRA, said it shot Constable Stephen Paul Carroll at Lismore Manor, Craigavon, County Armagh on Monday.
He was shot two days after the Real IRA murdered two soldiers in Antrim.

This story is just terrible - I can't believe one of the suspects is only 17; that's tragic.
