NKorea rocket fizzles, US says; Obama urges action
By PAUL ALEXANDER and JOHN HEILPRIN, Associated Press Writer Paul Alexander And John Heilprin, Associated Press Writer – 3 mins agoSEOUL, South Korea – The U.S. and its allies sought punishment Sunday for North Korea's defiant launch of a rocket that apparently fizzled into the Pacific, holding an emergency U.N. meeting in response to fears the country was testing long-range missile technology.
President Barack Obama called for a global response and condemned North Korea for threatening the peace and stability of nations "near and far." Minutes after liftoff, Japan requested the emergency Security Council session in New York.
U.S. and South Korean officials claim the entire rocket, including whatever payload it carried, ended up in the ocean but many world leaders fear the launch indicates the capacity to fire a long-range missile. Pyongyang claims it launched an experimental communications satellite into orbit Sunday and that it's transmitting data and patriotic songs.

We should send Navel forces to the region and blow the next rocket out of the sky. No apology no justification no explanations. We should not wait for N. Korea to strike, we should take a posture that is backed up with teeth. They are a war loving nation led by a nut that wants a violent show of force. I say we give it to him. No occupation, no big long drawn out war, quick decisive actions that prove we mean business. Lets boot him in the butt and reduce the worlds stress level a few notches.
Surround his country by Navel force and place defensive and offensive weapons on the highest state of readiness. If he even flinches, attack immediately and attack fast and hard. Try not to hurt decent N. Korean people but completely destroy the government and disable there weapons so they have no way to wage war. Give them that punch in the nose he so desperately wants and deserves. Shut this dictator up now and forever! It is time to put an end to this nonsense.
